Before the end of the year, the festive mood can be felt far away from the town under Černá hora. The most diverse aromas combine here, dominated by the aroma of Christmas punch from the colonnade, the Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve menu and, of course, spa treatments. People increasingly want to experience the most beautiful holidays of the year far from everyday life, so they enjoy the peaceful pulse of Janské Lázně. The range of options for winter fun and relaxation in the only spa on the Czech side of the Krkonoše is varied.
The good news is that the swimming season in Janské Lázně does not end and people come from far and wide to swim in the mineral water, or directly from the ski slopes. Two thermal springs – Janův and Černý – supply the spa with healing water without ceasing, and clients enjoy their effects to the fullest in massage baths and whirlpools.
On the slopes in a few minutes
You won't find sledges in Janské Lázně today. Even though sledding has surpassed skiing, riding the three and a half kilometer long sledge path from Černá hora to Janské Lázně is an experience. However, skiing still holds its own, as skiers board the cable car of the largest SkiResort in the Czech Republic, Černá hora – Pec, right in the town. The eight-seater cabins overcome the elevation of 566 meters and the length of 2303 meters in a few minutes, and from Černá hora they descend along the slopes, which total 41 kilometers. It takes a few minutes from the spa to the cable car and just as quickly back to the Aquacenter.
Original Christmas and New Year's Eve
The end of the year spent in Janské Lázně has an original form. The Christmas and New Year's Eve package includes accommodation in the Terra***Superior hotel with free entry to the Aquacentrum, where you can go from your room only in a bathrobe. In addition to other pleasantries, clients of the Christmas stay can expect a four-course Christmas Eve dinner.
