General information
The health insurance company covers the costs of medical and nursing care for the client . The client pays for meals and accommodation and any accompanying persons themselves. According to the applicable legislation, subsidized spa care can only be provided by a registered inpatient healthcare facility and it is not possible to divide it into parts, so it is not possible to stay outside the spa facilities or to come for treatment from home.
If you wish to spend your stay in the spa with an escort , then the accompanying person pays for their own accommodation and meals according to the hotel accommodation offer, which is available here . Accommodation of the accompanying person together with the client is only possible if there is free capacity. If you are interested in accommodation of the escort, please contact the reservation office at the email address sales@janskelazne.com.
During the paid medical care, the client is not recognized as temporarily unable to work (if he/she is working, he/she must take, for example, vacation during the stay).
The date of entry to the spa is determined by the spa according to its capacity. However, it is possible to book entry for a stay in a specific calendar month (the specific day in the month will be determined by the spa). This option is intended both for clients whose approved proposal for comprehensive medical care has been delivered to the spa, and for clients who only reasonably expect that a proposal for comprehensive spa treatment will be issued and approved. The length of stay is determined by the indication list.

Accommodations
The health insurance company only covers the costs of medical and nursing care. The client pays for meals and accommodation themselves. According to the current legislation, it is necessary to undergo medical care including accommodation in a spa facility and it is therefore not possible to stay outside the spa facility or to come to treatment from home.
We provide accommodation in the main spa building Janský Dvůr and in the spa hotel Terra*** Superior, located in the very center of Janske Lázně, as well as in the spa annexes located in close proximity to the center. The spa building and room type are primarily determined by the spa based on your health condition, taking into account the current occupancy . However, if you wish to stay in a specific building or room type (e.g. single, superior, etc.), please contact our admissions office as soon as possible after receiving the initial information, which will inform you of the current options.

Eating and diets
Meals for clients are provided in the dining room in the Centrum building, located next to the Kolonáda café, and in the dining rooms in the Janské Dvůr building. For clients staying at the Terra*** Superior hotel, meals are provided in the hotel restaurant.
On the day of arrival , lunch is served from 13:00 PM to 14:00 PM (Hotel Terra 12:00 PM – 14:00 PM). On the day of departure , your meal ends with breakfast. From the following day of your stay, you can choose from at least two types of food (with the exception of diets).
The spa also prepares meals according to various therapeutic diets. The spa diet system for adults can be viewed here . Basic diets (rational) and special diets (especially sparing, reducing, diabetic, diabetic sparing, gluten-free and lactose-free) prescribed by a doctor are covered by the clients' health insurance. The price of special diets for companions or clients who have not been prescribed them by a doctor is listed in the price list for 2026.
All diets must be reported after receiving confirmation of acceptance of the proposal to the spa nutrition therapists at dietka@janskelazne.com . If dietary restrictions are not reported, it is not possible to provide a diet in the first days of your stay. Diets cannot be provided in the hotel restaurant Terra.
