How old is your son and how did you learn about the possibility of intensive neurorehabilitation?
My son is 3,5 years old, this is our third time at the Vesna Children's Hospital. I learned about this treatment option here at the reception, when the head of the department suggested the option of intensive neurorehabilitation "OD 00035". I welcomed it. We originally went here for a classic spa stay.
I agreed to the possibility of having this treatment twice a year, which is a condition, even though my son is still very young. We agreed with the head doctor that we would adapt the treatment to his son so that the number of procedures would not be too many for him.
We also go to neurorehabilitation in Prague, which we pay for. From my point of view, this type of stay is important, given the intensity of the exercises. Individual exercises once a day are sometimes not enough. For neurorehabilitation, which we pay for in Prague, we exercise 2 hours a day. My son can handle it. Here at the spa, we don't stop, we have exercises twice a day, speech therapy, occupational therapy and other procedures scheduled from morning to afternoon, of course with the necessary rest and sleep after lunch.
Is there a procedure that you don't like or think is not appropriate?
I don't think so, the program is adapted to my son's age and abilities. The procedures suit us.
Were you interested in other spas?
Not yet, we only go to Janske Lazne, and we do other exercises on our way to Prague. I heard about the treatment in Klimkovice, but I wasn't interested in it any more. This time my son and I are exercising exclusively with the Vojta method to balance the therasuit concept that we practice in Prague. I promise results from this trip. My son doesn't walk yet, but I believe that the intensity of the treatment will help.
Will you continue here?
Yes, it is a condition of this program to complete the treatment twice a year. Progress can only be assessed after a year and two stays.
Will you talk to your pediatrician and a specialist about this treatment?
I have a good pediatrician and a neurologist, I will definitely mention them, but our check-up is not until September. The pediatrician will write everything down for us, but I expect a more interested approach to treatment from a specialized doctor.
Where do you live in Vesna, and do you have any comments about the rooms?
Since my son is not walking yet, I am glad that we have a bathroom in the room.

We don't have any.
Why did you choose our spa?
We have been going to Janské Lázně since we were little. I had a disabled friend and I know she always went here too.
How did you like the treatment method, what do you appreciate about it?
I appreciate physiotherapy and occupational therapy more.
Have you seen any progress in your child after treatment? And what kind?
After each visit to the spa, we see progress, but not immediately, only after a certain period of time. Firmer muscles and body.
Will you come to us for another stay?
We will definitely come back in the fall. We like Janské Lázně and have made a lot of friends there during that time.
What message would you give to other parents?
