Lucie Výborná participated in a unique 'pedaling' project to support hippotherapy for children from the Vesna Children's Hospital
Lucie Výborná, a well-known presenter and journalist, is known for her active approach to charitable activities. She recently joined another “pedaling” project called “Kingdom for Horses”. This project, coordinated by the ČEZ Group, aims to support hippotherapy at our Vesna Children's Hospital in Janské Lázně.
Hippotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses horses to help improve motor development, coordination, and well-being in children with neuromuscular and other disorders. Projects like “Kingdom for Horses” are key in ensuring that this important therapy can be provided to those who need it most.
The concept of the “pedaling” project is simple but effective. Any physical activity can be converted into financial resources. Simply select the type of movement in the application, such as running, cycling or walking, and collect points. Once the target number of points is reached, the project is supported through the ČEZ Group Foundation.
Thanks to this project, one horse intended for hippotherapy has already been purchased in Janské Lázně. The horse Beruška, whose full name is Black Berry Smart, is now preparing for her hippotherapy career. Her contribution to the Vesna Children's Hospital is immense, she helps children in their treatment and contributes to their overall improvement.
Now the plan is to "tread" another horse and medical equipment for the Vesna Children's Hospital. Every step brings us closer to this goal and helps the child patients at the hospital.
