Director duo Kristina Pavelkova a Ivo Pavelek She created a film over the course of four years, which is not only a documentary but above all a personal testimony.
The film captures Arnošt Lustig in full force – as a kind guide through his own life, who with insight, humor, and deep experience guides the viewer through the most difficult moments of the 20th century and his later life path.
The film touches on the dramatic events of the 30s and 40s, but also offers a look at other stages of life, memories, and the inner strength that accompanied the author throughout his life.
