The story of our patient Jirka began at the Vesna Children's Hospital in Janské Lázně in November 2021. When he arrived, he was unable to move the lower half of his body due to spinal cord damage. 

During the first weeks of rehabilitation, progress was only slight, so we suggested electroacupuncture treatment to my mother. Immediately after the first applications, noticeable changes in the movement of her lower limbs were visible.

Two weeks after the first application, Jirka even stood up in a walker on his own. Even though his legs were still weak, Jirka was a fighter and kept trying to improve his mobility. He took the walker home and continued to practice walking.

After a month, Jirka even stood up on his own on crutches, which his grandfather had made for him. But it didn't stop there, after a few more applications of electroacupuncture, he even started taking his first steps on his own. But his story doesn't end there, and we hope that after further treatment his condition will improve even further.
