The aim of medical rehabilitation care in a specialized medical facility (OLÚ) is restoring the client's maximum functional ability and can be provided to patients.

a) Patients in stage of disease stabilization, i.e. direct translation from hospital inpatient departments, especially for the following diagnoses:

b) Patients with chronic musculoskeletal problems or neurological disease:

unsuccessful outpatient treatment stating how outpatient rehabilitation was carried out (treatment procedures)

PROPOSAL FOR REHABILITATION CARE IN A SPECIALIZED TREATMENT CENTER

How does the patient get to the spa?

NEW: From 2022, not only a general practitioner, but also an outpatient specialist can write you a KLP and OLÚ proposal. A recommendation for spa or rehabilitation care must always be included.

He will write a recommendation for spa or rehabilitation care (OLÚ) to the patient at his discretion and according to his health condition. specialist doctor / medical specialist (orthopedist, RHB doctor, neurologist, surgeon, etc.).

It is possible that the patient will have to undergo necessary medical examinations. Based on the recommendation of a specialist, the PLDD (general practitioner or outpatient specialist) will issue an appropriate proposal (voucher), in which he will suggest the type of care (comprehensive, rehabilitation in the OLÚ) and a suitable treatment facility. If you have chosen our treatment facility, please inform the doctor that the proposed treatment facility is Janské Lázně ranked first.

The PLDD/outpatient specialist will then send the proposal, along with the mandatory medical documentation, to the child patient's health insurance company for approval. In indicated cases, an escort may also be approved.

In the event that it involves a transfer from bed to bed, the proposal will be fully taken care of by the attending physician at the healthcare facility where the patient is hospitalized.

After sending the proposal and the above documents to the health insurance company, the health insurance company decides whether or not to approve a specific type of care and possible accompaniment. Its decision is 30 calendar days. The health insurance company will inform you in writing about the approval or disapproval of the proposal. If the insurance company approves your proposal, it is sent from the insurance company directly to our spa (or to another spa of your choice).

The decision to accept or reject a patient for treatment is made by the head physician of the hospital. based on current occupancy at the time of proposal validity. Proposal validity is 6 months from the date of approval of the proposal by the health insurance company.

If the proposal is accepted by the treatment center, we will usually send the first information about the stay, together with the price list of additional services, within a week of receiving the proposal from the health insurance company. We usually send the summons for treatment itself 1-2 weeks before the start of the stay.
