With the arrival of June, our spa town is waking up to its main season. We have prepared a rich and varied cultural program for you, which combines music, sports, knowledge and family fun. Whether you come to us for relaxation, treatment or active movement in the Krkonoše nature, you will certainly find something for you in the coming weeks.
A spectacular start to the season in the spirit of tradition
The most important event at the beginning of the month is Saturday , June 6 , when from 10:00 to 21:00 the ceremonial Opening of the Spa Season 2026 with the subtitle 6 Spa Joys will take place . On this day, the entire spa area will be transformed into one large cultural parade. You can look forward to live music, performances by artists, craft stalls and a rich program for children. For easier accessibility, a shuttle service will be provided from Trutnov and back, and a popular road train will also run in the area.
Regular music evenings and open-air concerts
Music is an integral part of spa life. Throughout June, you can look forward to regular musical evenings, which always take place from 6:30 p.m. on the Colonnade or on the outdoor stage, and admission is completely free.

Duo Filoména : This duo will present their melodies to you on Monday , June 1 , June 15 and June 22.

Vosa Band : You can tune in to this band on Friday, June 12th and June 19th.

On Wednesday, June 10th at 3:00 p.m., Radek Novák will perform on the outdoor stage with his guitar recital John Denver Tribute.

If you prefer quieter activities or want to discover the history of our city, the June offer is also for you. On Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30 p.m., a guided walk through Janské Lázně will start in front of the Janský dvůr reception . During the 1,5 km long route, which is also suitable for wheelchair users, you will learn about a number of historical points of interest.
For creative souls and families with children, Painting for Joy is prepared on Wednesday , June 3rd from 3:30 p.m. in the Kolonáda Café . Art supplies are provided on site and admission is free. Lovers of intellectual entertainment will appreciate the Chess Tournaments and Board Games , which will take place on Tuesday , June 23rd from 4:00 p.m. in the Kolonáda. For travelers in body and soul , a travel lecture about Switzerland with Libor Turk is prepared on Thursday , June 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the Janský dvór hall (admission is 60 CZK).
Road train trips to the surrounding area
The popular road train will be in full operation in June and will offer several types of routes with a stop and boarding at the Colonnade. Payment is always made directly on the train.

Sightseeing tour of Janské Lázně : Short tours of the city take place on Wednesdays , June 3 , June 10 , June 17 and June 24 , always at 3:00 p.m.

Trip to Pec pod Sněžkou : You can go on a longer trip on Sunday, June 7 and June 21 at 1:00 p.m. Due to capacity, it is necessary to register for these trips in advance at the Janský dvór reception.

Family program and ultimate sports weekend
Half of the month will belong to children. On Sunday, June 14th , from 9:00 a.m., Animal Day will be held in front of the Vesna Children's Hospital. You can expect a competitive morning with music with the participation of sponsors, and in the afternoon, a train ride will be prepared for children.
The end of June in Janské Lázně will be marked by top-level sport and an international atmosphere. From Thursday, June 25 to Sunday , June 28 , our city will host the World Veteran Hill Running Championships. This major international race will start every day at 8:00 a.m. (Thursday, 10:00 a.m.) and will bring the world's running elite to us.
Spa clients and families with children can join in the sporting action on Saturday, June 27 at 3:00 p.m., when the "Be Fit" Race - Run through the Colonnade will start . This is a symbolic and barrier-free 1 km race intended for spa clients, wheelchair users and parents with strollers.
