The start of the spa season this year will be in the spirit of celebrating children
This year, the organizers of the Opening of the Spa Season in Janské Lázně focused on children and invite them to a program with the theme The spa also belongs to children, for whom they chose Saturday, June 1st. "Two thousand young patients are treated at our Vesna Children's Hospital every year, and for many it is a second home," said Martin Voženílek, director of the Janské Lázně spa.
The adjacent areas of the spa will be filled with pedal tin cars and, together with a children's retro photo corner and workshops for children, they promise creative fun. In front of the Vesna children's spa, craftsmen with products for children and actors of the animation and music program will present themselves. Children will also meet members of the AHOJ CHRUDIM ensemble, who will play puppet fairy tales for them. "Drawing artist Jan Honza Lušovský will once again conjure up his relaxing pictures. Little visitors will have the opportunity to walk a competitive Indian trail, try out wheelchair riding, or apply your knowledge and insight in cognitive competitions," explained the main organizer of the event, Irena Korytářová.
Adults don't have to worry about entertainment either. As always, the program is all-day and from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m., visitors of all ages will find something to do. At 10 a.m., the spa season traditionally begins with the consecration of the healing spring in Prameník on the colonnade. "In the cultural program, Regioband and guests will perform on the small stage, and in the afternoon Lokálka and Swing sextet will also perform. In the main program from 13 p.m., visitors can look forward to Ivan Mládek and his Banjo Band on the large stage. At half past three, the band Buty will perform. In another accompanying program, majorettes and belly dancers will perform," said Irena Korytářová.
